ALMOST REALITY: Myself and my friends (Part II)... Sunny gets a job

 

 

Sul Sul!

 

 

Here I am calling up my friends.

They sure always have news!

 

 Sunny and Heinz are still very happy together.

 

 But while Heinz is working in the hospital,

Sunny gets a bit bored at home.

 Swimming in their rooftop pool doesn't help,

so she tries meditating a bit...

 Bah, this is boring.

Maybe some cooking would help?

 Nah, neither.

 

 When Heinz gets home from work, and gives her a nice massage,

Sunny has the ultimate idea:

SHE WANTS TO WORK IN THE HOSPITAL AS WELL!

 

 

 

But first, while her application is on,

it's another workday for nurse Heinz.

Heinz' tales of his work make Sunny wish she would have the same job...

 ... maybe soon, if her application gets through...

 

 

 

 Nobody likes household chores,

but Sunny and Heinz have a good routine

and they always do a fair fifty-fifty.

 

Then one morning Sunny gets a call...

... she can start practicing at the hospital!

 First of all, washing and disinfecting the hands...

it's the hospital after all.

 

 Getting to know the workmates...

 

 And making beds.

 

 Time for lunch break.

 

 Doing some medical research...

 

 ... then the patients get their lunch as well.

 

 Because she's rather tech savvy,

Sunny is the first to be called when the analysis apparatus breaks.

 

 Making more beds...

 

 "I need a coffee."

 

 Before work ends, Sunny needs to scrub floors.

 

That was a good day!

 

 

 

 Heinz welcomes her home.

"How was it, darling?"

 

"Oh, it was amazing!

Wonderful!

Superb!

I love-love-love it there!"

Seems like someone likes their new job!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



 Aurelia meanwhile keeps typing away.

 She has made it to chief secretary.

By the way,

isn't her house just as cute as she is?

 Meet my old friend Ursula.

Outgoing and cheerful,

a bit weird sometimes.

 

 Michi has decided to not let good food go to waste.

 But whom to invite over for a party,

if she still doesn't know anyone in this town?

 

Don't worry, Mich,

I'm sure you'll have a whole big bunch of friends

in the blink of an eye,

just going out a little

and being yourself!

 

 

 

 

 

 A confident power woman,

Christine is a good friend as well.
