Sul Sul!
Here's Part 2 of the Desperanza Apocalypse:
The story of poor Colin Philips,
who just wasn't made for the Apocalypse.
Colin Philips (-Apoca)
was a pleasure sim with a rather family oriented lifetime wish to
marry off six children.
His star sign was Scorpio, he was extremely sloppy and extremely lazy.
He was secretly turned on by fat vampires (huh?!?),
and turned off by stink (come on, nobody likes stinking fat vampires).
Colin Philips met the love of his life (and later doom), Hope Apoca, in the Art Club.
She was in college back then in Académie Le Tour.
They dated and had a good time...
... then one day Hope decided to make it "more official"...
... which for carefree Colin meant just another reason to have some fun.
Then Hope graduated and for a long time,
Colin did not know where she ended up.
Seeing her again was both a pleasure and a shock.
Pleasant to see her, of course
(although she almost broke his backbone),
and a shock because of where she lived
- a desolate fallout zone.
This was the Apocalypse!
But having given her his promise back in college,
Colin did not hesitate when she asked him to
marry her and stay with her in her shelter.
Colin soon adapted to life under hard circumstances...
... while Hope's belly grew.
Given her pregnancy, Hope could not continue to work as a scientist.
So Colin had to find a way to bring home some cash.
When he found a suspicious-looking offer in the newspaper
that they were looking for "dancers", he took the job
- with some doubts.
Dancing in midst of an Apocalypse?
What kind of things was he REALLY supposed to be doing there?
Hope gave birth to a healthy baby boy that they named Adam.
Colin kept going to his "dancing" job.
As a scientist, Colin's wife had invented a strange machine she called "Energizer".
She swore that it always made her feel better,
but Colin stayed away from the machine,
intuitively knowing it would bring him even further down.
Pride and joy Adam seemed to be the happiest in the family.
Luckily Colin found out that yoga was a good way to find some peace while exercising.
He now even began to have moderate success with "dancing".
Adam outgrew the crib...
While his wife stayed at home with the kid,
Colin saw no other solution than to keep dancing.
Dancing in desolation.
The years passed and Adam grew a teen...
Colin was working on his charm...
... and wore gaudy outfits to impress the spectators.
Hope started to get the typical elder problems:
hurting back, weak bladder... and, worst of all,
dementia.
It was depressing to see his once so proud wife just lounging on the couch,
her only activities seeming to be sighing or throwing away old newspapers.
He was losing her to the world of dementia.
Meanwhile their son Adam grew up into a handsome, strong adult.
... who, unluckily, suffered some mental problems,
most of all a heavy depression from never having attended that
"college" thing his parents kept talking about.
In midst of seeing his only son panhandling for simoleons,
Colin started feeling age and dementia crawl upon himself as well.
Adam found a job with the military,
and dedicated his life to fighting the zombies that still haunted the streets.
One morning Hope was found dead by the bedside.
She had starved.
Adam started bringing pretty girls home from work...
