Sul Sul!
Let's start off with something simple.
Like... literally nothing.
This is Jane Doe.
She washed up in Willow Creek with absolutely nothing but the clothes she is wearing... and no memory whatsoever of who she is and how she came here.
But she is confident, and she is proud.
She wants to make it all by herself in this town
- become a MILLIONAIRE!
Good luck, gal.
Here is the first part of her story.
Our Jane literally has to make money out of nothing.
Her dream is to apply for the police,
but they ask her to pay for her own uniform.
500 simoleons!!!
Jane doesn't have that money,
not even one simoleon.
But there is a river running right behind her,
and that brings an idea to her mind...
Jane fishes for many hours, with little success.
But she catches a few small fish she can sell at the fish market.
Better than nothing.
Luckily a woman at the nearby park decides to make food, and Jane doesn't have to go very hungry.
She even strikes up a little friendship with a girl called Summer.
In the afternoon, Jane decides to try her luck at the pond.
And then, at other fishing spots.
Early evening, she catches a veggie burger another woman made.
She even finds some crystals she can sell.
Anything that gives money!
Exploring the neighborhood, she finds a community garden.
Unfortunately, at this very time there is nothing she could harvest.
Jane goes back to the park and plays a little chess.
But soon she remembers she has to make money,
and is back fishing at the pond.
Until, exhausted, she goes to sleep on a park bench.
It's been a long hard day.
She wakes up in the morning feeling not too good.
But she's happy that the park has a little toilet house so she can freshen up a little.
Then it's fishing again.
Sadly, today nobody cares to make "free breakfast" for Jane.
So she uses some of her precious money to buy fruit that she can grill.
She is starving!
That is better.
Jane is feeling a bit lonely.
But she can invite the chess player from yesterday to watch clouds with her.
More fishing.
At least her fishing skills get better very fast,
and she is already catching quite big fish that bring more money!
Until...
Jane!
You made it!
You have earned 500 simoleons!
What you're gonna do now?
"Apply for a job in the police.
What else."
Jane needs a shower soon.
The only place coming to mind is the gym.
As "justification" for showing up at the gym,
Jane spends some alibi minutes on the treadmill.
Shower, finally!
Everybody is working out;
nobody notices that Jane has gone to sleep on a sofa in the relax area.
Sleep well, Jane.
I bet this is a little more comfy than the park bench.
Around 1 am, Jane returns to the park and finds that the grilled fruit she made for breakfast are still good enough to eat for a night meal.
She is joined by Cassandra Goth and Don Lothario.
Jane! Are you serious? You are trying to impress Don?
"Nah, I'm just feeling active."
Yeah. Whatever. Jane and Don seem to get along pretty well.
The night ends with more fishing.
Then it is time for Jane's first day of work with the police!
You look gorgeous, hun!
It looks kinda depressing...
Jane's first case is in the Pancakes house.
Jane is getting damn tired.
First days of work are always that much... work?
It has been too much.
But luckily, Jane's workday is almost over.
Aaaaaaand... she earned good money!
From her first pay, Jane buys a wooden block she can use as "sofa", and an icebox with some food.
Although the couch at the gym is still waaaay more comfy.
Grilling for breakfast during a day on patrol.
Time to have dinner.
Soon Jane can add a toilet, sink, and bookcase to her belongings.
She also planted some apple and flower seeds she found.
In the gym, Jane gets to know Mr. J Huntington III.
Damn it, even when he's slightly sweaty,
he smells of money.
A new case at the Goth house.
Jane decides to sell the uncomfortable wood block and go for an inflatable bed.
Also have at least one wall for a minimum of privacy when on the toilet.
Bored? Go read a book.
Wow, Jane.
Didn't know you could afford such a nice dress.
You look awesome!
Whom are you trying to impress?
"Out having a little fun."
But the glitzy dress can't cover the fact that her living is still very basic.
Jane has found the guilty one.
The accused one is slowly crumbling under the massive pressure.
Finally, she admits the crime.
Case closed.
And just in time,
because Jane is hungy, tired, tense, needs a toilet, and a shower.
Surprise! Jane can now even afford her own shower.
Working at the crime scene can bring unexpected benefits,
like being able to cook right there. LOL.
Jane wants a little luxury in her life and buys a cool couch.
A fun night out with her best friend Summer.
Bills need to be paid.
And the garden needs attention.
And guess where you can find Jane on her day off from work.
This doesn't bring money.
Neither does this.
But there is an apple in this box.
We can plant it.
Fishy fresh fish fish.
Visit!
A little more privacy.
"No fighting when I am on patrol!"
Lots of free food.
"You're arrested!"
And this is how the first part ends...
Jane has a bathroom, and another room (bedroom?) is in the making.
She can now at least eat, sleep, shower, rest, read and go to the toilet on the lot she calls home...
that is, she can cover her basic needs and is not so much of a hobo anymore.
Still lots of way to go though to MILLIONAIRE!
